Organ

The organ of the Chamber Music Hall is one of the unique pipe organs that have been used in the USSR. It was designed by Dutch “Flentrop” company on the basis of the 17th-century organs to perform mainly Baroque music, consisted of 4000 pipes.

It was installed in 1979 and the first concert was given by people's  artist of Armenia organist Vahagn Stamboltsyan.

In 90’s the organ was damaged  due to the lack of heating  within the hall. In 2007 it was gratuitously renovated by Christian Wegscheider from Dresden, Germany.
